"Memoirs of a perfumer" Constantine Verigin

I like to read the good  books about interesting people. And now, my friend,  I want to o tell you about a book I recently read . The book is about memories of Constantine Verigin . This book tells us about the fragrances and the perfumer who worked with this. Who worked with Ernest
 Beaux
. About how was created the perfume Chanel No. 5. If you want to know  how  are created fragrances in the past time. The book was published in 1965, but many of the points relevant.

I want that you to see a few quotes:

"Schopenhauer calls the sense of smell is the main sense of memory, memories, since nothing causes us so suddenly and clearly experiences long past events, as odors associated with them"

"In conversations with me by Ernest Beaux constantly insisted that every perfumer should be an artist and, therefore, be interested in everything that is beautiful in the world, to love beauty, to find and create it. "

"Properly selected perfumes enhance the charm of women. And fragrant chords emphasize her type, who changing under the influence of the epoch and on demand of the day."

"I am convinced  Having lived quite a while in America that  spirits needed in  there like nowhere."

Konstantin Verigin was born and raised in the Russian Empire. But the cruel historical events changed his life. Only the memories remain......
